As we near Thanksgiving, we can’t help but think about all the things that we’re grateful for–including our amazing Lafayette community! This year’s Bear Fund campaign supports what we love most about the programs and activities that make Lafayette special—but with a fresh twist!
- The Bear Garden Club is hard at work bringing new life to the Bear Garden, and we can’t wait to see, smell, and taste the fruits of their labor!
- Our Peace Teachers introduced Mindful Mondays to help students reflect on the mindfulness skills they’re learning in school.
- Our Recess Coaches have a new supply of indoor and outdoor games to help facilitate social-emotional learning, especially while our playgrounds were under construction.
- Our Music Teachers are reviving the annual Spring Musical with the production of Shrek Jr. the Musical!
Our goal this year is to finally hit 100% participation, and every participant will be entered in a raffle for Spring Auction tickets, Grizzly Gear, and Washington Capitals tickets! As always, we welcome corporate matches, grandparent gifts, and even alumni support.
