No experience is necessary—this is an outstanding league for all players from 4-14, from novices to travel team-level players. The league has pitching and skills clinics and a wonderful group of volunteer parent coaches. All Lafayette students are welcome to play with Cap City, regardless of where they live.

FREE Youth Rugby Program this Summer!
Washington DC Youth Rugby‘s touch rugby program – free for all children aged between 5 and 14 years old – is just begining the summer 2025 season. Practices will be at Hardy Park in Foxhall on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, with games against teams from DC and across Virginia on Saturdays. No previous experience or knowledge of the game is required and newcomers are invited to join us to learn this wonderful sport. The program follows the FIT rules for touch rugby (i.e., no head contact, tackles, rucks, mauls etc.) and players will be grouped by age level to ensure appropriate instruction. ANC 3/4G is collecting community feedback through a survey on the Civic Core site plan, which includes a new library, community center, housing, outdoor space, and potential retail.
