As we gear up for end of the year portfolio time, we want to pause to belatedly thank some crucial folks who made both ARTS NIGHTS a success! First, to our Lafayette Home and School Hospitality Chairs for the brilliant addition of food trucks to Arts Night… they and numerous volunteers, our hardworking custodial staff and Mr. Buxbaum made the magic happen outside and inside!
A huge round of applause to the myriad of art room volunteers who matted artwork, typed labels, helped hang art and more… and special thanks to two Lafayette Grandmothers (Grace Clark and Carol Hamblin) who volunteer EVERY week in the art room prepping supplies, helping with displays, working with students who need extra support and so much more. We definitely could NOT do it all without you ALL!!!
In other news, Portfolios will be coming home SOON beginning this week and next. Be on the lookout! And fifth grade wheel workers will be bringing their clay pots home over the next few weeks… the pots are food and dishwasher safe!
