Given we do not have school on March 14th, we will celebrate all things circular on Wednesday, March 12th!
On this day, dedicated to the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, we will have our annual Pi recitation contest in which students will try to recite as many digits of Pi as they can. All students in grades K-5 are welcome to pick up the first several hundred digits of Pi in the Math Center and work to memorize them.
We will be awarding prizes for each grade level and any student who enters gets a little prize. We are asking students who are interested in participating, to sign up by March 7th by telling their teachers, who in turn will add them to the list.
