The Lafayette Book Fair is coming soon, just in time for holiday gifts! Books will be on sale in the library from December 9-13. The fair will be open to students during the school day, and to families from 3:15-4:30pm on Monday and Thursday, with extended hours from 3:15-6:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
FAQs:
- How do I know what day my child will be shopping at the fair? Class schedules can be found here
- How will my child pay for books and what books are sold? There are a few ways for students to pay if they would like to purchase books:
- Scholastic eWallet is a safe and cashless payment option! Similar to a gift card, families can simply select the amount they would like and print it at home. After the fair, any leftover balance on a student’s eWallet can be redeemed at Scholastic’s online fair.
- Students can bring a sealed, well-labeled ziplock bag with cash.
- For adult shoppers, we will also be accepting cash, credit cards, and checks made payable to Lafayette HSA.
- Do I need security clearance to volunteer? No clearance is needed for volunteering! We still have some open spots for volunteers, particularly in the busy 2:30-4:30 time slots and after the fair is over on Friday. Please visit the SignUp Genius page to select your day and time.
- Can I bring books to donate? Yes! We will also be collecting new or gently used books to donate to a school in our community.
