Fall Festival is almost here!

Oct 23, 2024

Fall Festival is this weekend, Saturday, October 26, 2-5 PM. Read below for everything you need to know before you go! We are so excited to spend a beautiful afternoon with the entire Lafayette community. We hope all will join us for this favorite tradition!

Thank You To Our 2024 Fall Festival Sponsor, Julie Roberts Home Team!

How to get your wristbands

Wristbands for kids (4+) are available here! Wristbands are $35 in advance/$40 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Lafayette HSA and go towards all of the wonderful resources the HSA funds for our students.

Wristbands are your all-inclusive pass to all of the activities at fall festival (there are no additional tickets or charges for any activities).

Wristbands are NOT required for adults or kids 3 and under who want to participate in the activities. Anyone who would benefit from attending free of charge may contact lafayette.dcps@k12.dc.gov to receive a wristband for their student(s).

I pre-ordered my tickets. Where can I pick them up?

Avoid the line day of and pickup your pre-ordered wristbands before the festival! Wristbands will be handed out at the plaza on Broad Branch Road & Northampton at pickup and drop off Wednesday 10/23, Thursday 10/24 and Friday 10/25. If you aren’t able to pick up your pre-ordered wristbands before Saturday, you can pick them up at the Fall Festival. Wristbands will be handed out and the sales table will be located in front of the school by the flagpole.

What activities will be available?

Fall festival will once again feature inflatable slides and obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall, crafts (including pumpkin painting), a haunted house, carnival games, a DJ, and more! Grizzly Gear will also be available for purchase.

What food and drink will be available?

Food and drink will be available to purchase from several vendors onsite. There will be food trucks, pizza, snacks and of course an ice cream truck!

Where will everything be located?

Everything will be located at Lafayette and in Lafayette-Pointer Park. A map will be available as soon as we confirm final locations in light of construction in and around the park — thank you for your patience! Restrooms will be available inside the school, accessed at the playground (North) entrance of the school.

How can I support the fall festival?

Every visitor to the Fall Festival supports Lafayette! We are also asking every family who is able to volunteer for a one-hour shift to help staff the amazing activities we have lined up. Not available during the festival? We still need help to set up before or clean up afterwards! Please check out the sign-up link below. The Fall Festival requires the collective support of countless parent volunteers and would not be possible without all of you. Please sign up for a short volunteer shift here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4EABAD22A1FBC25-51332564-lafayette#/

If you’ve read this far, thank you. We are excited to see you at the Festival!
