Parents and students, please join the HSA on Tuesday, October 4th Wednesday, October 12th as Lafayette participates in the national walk to school day!
- Please help us ‘Chalk the Walk’ by decorating the sidewalks for Northampton, Broad Branch, Patterson, and 33rd Street on the afternoon of October 12th at 5pm (weather permitting).
- Join the DC Metro Police Department @815am at Rittenhouse & Utah St NW as they join in to support our community and provide safe passage for walk & rollers.
- Share the benefits of walking with your students (health, traffic, pedestrian safety, community, and environment).
- Wear BLUE the day of!
- Swing by tables as you enter school grounds grab a snack & DDOT swag.
